the end boards, Giroux picks up the disc and g Antworten

ST. Nike Air Max Soldes . JOHNS, N.L. -- Cal Clutterbuck scored the shootout winner as the Islanders beat the Ottawa Senators 3-2 on Monday night and New York won both games of a split-squad doubleheader in NHL pre-season action. Clarke MacArthur and Curtis Lazar scored in regulation for the Senators. Mikhail Grabovski and Josh Bailey replied for the Islanders. MacArthur opened the scoring 5:12 into the first period, scoring a one-time wrist shot from the slot on the power play after some precise passing with teammates Mark Stone and Kyle Turris. Lazar doubled Ottawas lead on another power play with a quick wrap-around goal, catching Islanders goalie Jaroslav Halak chasing the puck behind his net at the 12:54 mark of the first period. Despite some early pressure, Senators goalie Craig Anderson was sharp, turning away all ten shots from the Islanders in the first period, including a breakaway save against Mikhail Grabovski 7:39 into the game. Grabovski took advantage of his second breakaway to get the Islanders on the board, catching a long stretch pass and scoring after a quick deke on Anderson 3:10 into the second period. With 10:09 left in the second period, both teams swapped goalies. Kevin Poulin came in for Halak, while Robin Lehner replaced Anderson. Josh Bailey tied the game on a 2-on-1 rush, fooling Lehner with a quick low wrister with 2:35 left in the second period. Halak stopped 10 shots for the Islanders and Poulin stopped 21. Anderson saved 15 for Ottawa, while Lehner turned aside 14. Earlier in the day, Jack Skille scored the winner with 1:27 to play as the Islanders beat Ottawa 3-2 in the opener of the pre-season double-header. Sebastian Collberg and Brock Nelson also scored for the Islanders. Alex Chiasson, part of the off-season trade that sent former Senators captain Jason Spezza to Dallas, and Cole Schneider scored Ottawas goals. Notes: Both teams are back in action on Sept. 24, as New York takes on the Carolina Hurricanes and Ottawa takes on the Toronto Maple Leafs. ... Ottawa forward Bobby Ryan was a notable absence, as he was kept out of the line-up as a precaution following an on-ice collision with teammate Kyle Turris during a Sunday intra-squad game. The 13th match-up of the Round of 32 sees Claude Giroux go no-look, while Evgeni Malkin does the hard work to set up a gift for a teammate. Its not just that Giroux goes no-look, its that its one of the greatest blind shots youre likely to see. Picking a wild point shot rebound off the end boards, Giroux picks up the disc and gets sent to the ice by David Savard. While falling, though, he unleashes one heck of a shot. Falling, he lifts a backhander behind his back towards the net... and roofs it. Its not even like Curtis McElhinney doesnt expect the shot, Giroux just beats him high glove without even looking. Malkinn counters one great shot with a 200-foot effort. Nike Air Max 270 Pas Cher Chine. . Winding up from behind his own net, Malkin breaks out and proceeds to start dancing through the entire Montreal Canadiens team. There is actually only one skater on the ice that Malkin doesnt skate through or around and hes just a spectator. By the time Raphael Diaz and Francis Bouillon finally haul him down, hes shoveled a pass cross-crease to James Neal, who jukes once and slides the puck past Carey Price.
